Details
New visitor facilities have opened at Lady Anne’s Drive, Holkham, for the 800,000 visitors annually to the Holkham National Nature Reserve and Beach. The Lookout blends perfectly into this sensitive landscape offering spectacular views over the nature reserve, whilst interpretation about the habitats and wildlife will help you to play your part in keeping this area special.
The Lookout Café is committed to reducing waste and we aim to be free of single-use plastic. Where packaging is needed we use 100% plant-based, compostable packaging. Whilst disposable cups will be available, we sell our own branded reusable ‘KeepCup’ with your first hot drink free, when buying one of these cups. A 10% discount will be given to all customers using their ‘KeepCup’ or another reusable cup.
You’ll find we serve your usual favourites such as filter coffee made with locally roasted beans, hot chocolate and speciality teas. Cold drinks include iced tea and fruit juices and free drinking water. Delicious cakes, sausage rolls, sandwiches, soup and fruit are also on the menu and our ‘wrapper free’ ice lolly machine could be a novel talking point!
Toilets are available, including an accessible lavatory and baby changing facilities.
Full disabled access to shop and café and hall's ground floor. A stair climbing machine gives access to the hall's first floor for most manually operated wheelchairs. Full disabled access information is available on our website.
