Details
Join our education team on a guided walk within Holkham deer park. Discover the history of the resident Fallow Deer herd and learn about the characteristics and behaviours of this species. Whether it be early summer with fawns being born, or autumn during the rutting season, there will always be something to see and learn. Aside from the Fallow Deer, take in the wildlife that resides on Holkham Lake - and the added extra of a sneak peek into one of Holkham’s smallest buildings, the Ice House.
The Details
The walk will take place outdoors, whatever the weather, so be sure to dress appropriately and pack your suncream if needed! Binoculars will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own if you have any. Walks last approximately 90 minutes. We recommend this event is suitable for children aged seven and over. Sorry no dogs.
Level access to shop, café, walled garden, Holkham Stories Experience and hall's ground floor. A stair climbing machine gives access to the hall's first floor for most manually operated wheelchairs. Full access information is available on our website.
