The King's Lynn Literature Festivals are held during a single weekend in March (Fiction) and September (Poetry) each year. Our guiding principle, initiated by King's Lynn's finest, Tony Ellis and co-founder, the late George MacBeth, is to present some of the best contemporary writers of chapter and verse in a friendly and informal setting.

You will see writers of international repute alongside new, from all age ranges and from locations across the world. Meet the authors, hear them reading and buy their books. Tickets are £8.50 per session, or £37.50 for a weekend pass. Students are welcome at the concessionary price of £1 per event, or £5 for a weekend pass. Please see website for details.

Writers appearing this year include:

Rachel Hore (who will launch her new novel)
John Lucas
Guinevere Glasfurd
Rachel Crowther
Peter Benson
D J Taylor
Christopher Bigsby
Louis de Bernières
Sally Emerson
Mark Illis
