Port-2-Port is a brace of art exhibitions curated by Norfolk Contemporary Art Society at the Fermoy Gallery.

In medieval times the two ports of Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn were major players in English sea-born trade, the former broadly facing the Low Countries and also focused on fishing, the latter facing the Hanseatic League ports in the Baltic and with onward trade routes inland.

Sadly both towns have steadily declined as ports for both trade and fishing, so we are drawing attention to these two beautiful and historic towns by focusing on their cultural strengths, exchanging artworks from one port with artworks from the other, exhibiting them in galleries in each other’s port and connecting them visually, despite the surprising distance that separates them.
